Recently, one much-anticipated Android telephone is hitting the shelving the Droid RAZR. But some individuals are still holding out for the Ice Cream Sandwich-loaded new offering from Samsung, the Galaxy Nexus. The release date has been stated officially for the people in the United Kingdom. Users overseas will be well placed to get their hands on the device on Thursday, Nov 17th.

But everybody here in the U.S. Is still waiting for Samsung to give them a date. While Samsung still has to peg an official launch day, Droid Life has gotten a hold of a leaked Verizon map of release dates. And what did you know, the Galaxy Nexus is on the list. According to the document, it’ll hit the shelving on Nov 21st in the States. Perhaps just the virtual shelves, however. The map puts the one half one release as a web only event. As Droid Life points out, this would not be wholly out of keeping with character the original Nexus One achieved live status in an identical fashion. But the 21st falls on a Monday which would be a little bizarre apropos history. Re general timing, the 21st appears sensible.

It’s the in the week of Thanksgiving and that shopping day to reign all shopping days Black Fri. . Like I claimed before, Samsung is still silent on an official release date.
