A Filipina has been arrested and was implicated Thursday on charges with murder in association with the disappearance of Bay Area nursing student, Michelle Le. As tons of volunteers continue to search for Le in Northwards California, Alameda Police arrested 27-year-old Giselle Diwag Esteban on Wed. , Sep eight, 3 months after the 26-year-old Le vanished from a San Francisco-area hospice. In late May, Le, during her shift at Kaiser Permanente, had told work-mates she was going to get something out of her automobile but never returned.

Hayward Police Lt. Roger Keener related that police believe an attack happened at the hospital’s parking garage as CCTV photographs shows Esteban at the scene before and after Le’s disappearance. Police stated that they found traces of Le’s blood within her SUV alongside on one of Esteban’s shoes during an official warrant of Esteban’s home.

Cellular telephone records from both ladies also discovered that Le and Esteban moved around Alameda County in about the same trail and time period, he announced. Keener is hoping Esteban would help police find Le or her body, since it’s not been found. Giselle Esteban”The fact is, we do not have Michelle.

That is a piece we aren’t going to shut out on till we find her, till her location is known,” announced Keener at a press conference pronouncing the arrest. “The facts are a selection of those questions ,eg how Michelle met her passing, would possibly not be answered till Michelle is located.” Le’s disappearance has bolted the San Francisco Bay Area with tons of volunteers helping to go looking for the Vietnamese nursing student and holding candlelight vigils.

Police interviewed Esteban, a school buddy of Le, and tabbed her as a person of interest in the case after she confessed in a TV interview with a San Francisco Bay Area reports station to hating Le. According to KGO-TV, Esteban blames Le for spoiling her relationship with the daddy of her kid. 3 days before, Le’s disappearance, Esteban’s previous young man, filed a restraining order against Esteban mentioning her inconsistent behaviour and violent threats against him. Notwithstanding offering a $100,000 reward for info on Le’s location and conducting 1 or 2 searches, Le hasn’t been found.

Police believe Le was slaughtered but the family is upbeat that Esteban can ultimately bring them closure to the case. “No words can adequately explain the feelings that we feel right currently but know that we are still driven to bring her [Le] home,” related Le’s cousin Krystine. “We are thankful the case is moving forward. But our main concern was, is, and always will be finding Michelle and bringing her home with us. At about that point, she’s still missing, and we’ll fight to bring her home each day till we have her with our family again.”.
